It’s been 4 days since I’ve had my guiche and it hasn’t been as bad as I thought it was going to be. The first day I walked like John Wayne, it was pretty sore but nothing a couple of nurofen couldn’t sort out. I tried to spray it at least 4 or 5 times a day with the sterile solution and not touch it with my grubby hands.
The next couple of days were still sore but bearable, again I used a few nurofen and kept spraying it as often as I could. Riding to work on my motorbike was quite an experience!
The third night it was so itchy it woke me up, it was so so difficult not to itch it but I really didn’t want to touch it. A cooling spray of sterile solution and two nurofen and an iron will and I went back to sleep eventually.
It hurts less and less each day so hopefully in a few more days the soreness will have gone.
It’s pretty cool though, I love the look and I’m beginning to love the feel of it as it’s in a really sensitive area. I can’t wait for it to be fully healed so I can explore it properly and get a nice big ring put in it so it’s easier to play with
